The Universe meets you at the depth of your surrender
I read something in an insta reel today....
The Universe meets you at the depth of your surrender, not at the height of your struggle.
Being the pessimist I am, I start to look at the negative part. Is my struggle for naught? Does it matter how much ever I put efforts and wriggle? The blood, sweat, tears and time I poured in, what is it for? Who is it for? If nobody sees my struggles, who am I struggling for? Myself? Why? Am I worthy of struggle? I should be, right? But, am I?
Universe meets you at the depth of your surrender......Sounds full of despair. Once you realize your struggles are useless, you fall into despair. It would be your rock bottom. And Universe meets you there? Are you serious? I need examples. Tell me. Don't you think the universe is a fickle being? Of course, if it was sentient. Why would you want to meet the universe that paid no heed to you during your struggles? The one that was feeling joy seeing you sink deep and bleeding dry, why would you?
I wouldn't want to meet the universe as a reward of my surrender. I want the universe to be by my side, all through the course of my struggles. 'Cause at the depth of my surrender, I wouldn't exist.
I realized this while writing, I think it's true that the Universe will meet you at the depth of surrender. 'Cause at the deepest point of life, we ............
