Headphone Connect Hyderabad
Headphone Connect Hyderabad.
I went to this event on Sunday, 11th of May. I regret not going early because there were many things I missed checking out. Basically, it is a convention of products sold by Headphonezone.in, where they have most of their products for you to try out in person. I met Issac from the company, who helped me with trying out some of their beginner products. I don't call myself an audiophile, but I have enough exposure to the headphone and earphone space - thanks to a lot of coincidences and friends.
My main goal of visiting this expo is to upgrade my IEMs - In Ear Monitors, for those new to the word. I currently have TangZu Wan'er S.G., the original edition. It has a balanced sound signature with a good enough base and clear vocals. I love them cause they don't make my ears tired even after hours of continuous listening. Issac, the presenter from Headphone Zone, suggested me Kiwi Ears Cadenza. At the time of writing this post, I could not find the product on HeadphoneZone's list. It had a similar sound signature, but with a small form factor and better drivers than my current one. I was satisfied with it. I also tried Simgot EW200. This has a different sound, but its smaller than the Cadenza. And it's built like a tank, made of metal. It packs some serious base. It has a balanced sound signature, much similar to the TangZu Wan'er's. The last IEM I tried was Truthear Hexa. I was blown away by the sound of it. I felt like it unlocked a whole new world. Especially, its sound staging, it can effortlessly pull up the smallest details lost in the chaos. I should buy the Hexa's, but I need to stop being broke first.
Some other IEM's that I've tried but was not fond of are listed below:
- Kinera Celest Wyvern Pro
- Truthear x Crinacle - Zero:Red
I also tried the Audeze headphones which are an entirely different spectrum. They are good, but if you prefer a versatile use case, the Sony XM4's will make you more than satisfied. Definitely not biased because I'm using them. It is based on a significant number of reviews by my peers.
I will link the songs I used as a metric below:
- Nirvana - Something in the Way
- blink-182 - I Miss You
- Asian Kungfu Generation - ライフ イズ ビューティフル
- Vaundy - odoriko
