It's a happy birthday 🎂

Hola!

It was a hard day from the morning. The exam was held at University of Hyderabad. I had to run to not miss the exam timings. I was worried that I couldn't make it inside before the said time. I was lucky that they extend entry time by 15 mins. The exam paper was hard but not to the point that I'd cry. It was as I expected, hard because I did not prepare well for it. That said, I had fun solving the papers, particularly the reasoning ones at the end.

The exam was done by 12:00 and I was out of the hall by 12:40. But, I had to walk all the way to the entry Gate which was 2.5 kms from the exam hall. My feet had given up by the time I reached it. I had to book a Rapido ride, without any option left. I then moved on to the event of the day - birthday party.

We, gang of 5, gathered at Raidurg metro station and made our way toward 'Zero 40' - a Brewpub. It was time very well spent. I had fun ('cause I didn't pay the bill, ya see 😏). The bill totaled to approximately 10k rupees. Considering the quality and quantity of the food and drinks served, it was a bit on the pricy side. We ended the gathering with a car ride, blasting old telugu songs, from the likes of Gazini to Pokiri to Chatrapathi.

In the return journey, I was supposed to drop off metro at Durgam Cheruvu. But the plan went awry when I met an old friend from school, who is currently studying in US. We reminisced about our school days and talked about how are things in the States. I should've asked their consent before sharing it here, but anyways, it was nice meeting them after a long time. It was an exciting metro ride as I travelled past my destination.

And while writing this post, I learnt that historically two words were used to mask a person's gender: it and they. I tried using it in this post in other forms, see if you can find them.

I am holding my sleep while writing this (for the sake of consistency), so please excuse my blunders. I shall sign off now, GN!

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY NISHANTH!!!!

PS: To my gang of 5 (which became gang of 4 when we boarded the metro), sorry for leaving you out to meet my friend from States. I'll buy you something good when meet the next time.
