Another day gone by

I met up with a friend of mine studying abroad during the weekend. It was time well spent, as we celebrated his return, and had fun with a couple of other friends. I stayed at his house for the whole trip. It reminded me of my internship days, ah, nostalgia!

I returned home, completely forgot about the promise of discipline I made in the last post. Still, its not late yet. I can redeem myself with this post. I have a few photos to share. The 10+ year old Sony Cybershot point & shoot does take some real good shots. But most of the time struggles with real quick shots due to old hardware and software taking too much time processing the image. As you can see in the below shot, I tried to focus on the bird, but it got completely ignored. The building outline was sharp, which was not my intention.

The only redeeming picture I took is the one below. The sharpness and depth of color is great even after zooming in onto the bird.
The cropped shot of the bird looks a lot better when compared. Even though it is grainy, the colors pop out well.
Birds like these are rare to spot in the middle of a city. In this time and age, where you can find birds mostly only in a Zoo or a National Park, it is a pleasant surprise. I hope to encounter more of the nature in the coming future. Adios!
