An evening by the dam
This would be my first post. I have decided to share my ordinary days on the internet a while back, but only now am I actually executing it. A quick back story on me - I am a software developer who loves taking pictures of nature, enjoys listening to Jpop, tinkers with electronics and also plays a bit of video games.
This evening, I decided to go on a walk by the dam in my city. It is a reservoir with a moderate capacity to hold water coming from Godavari river. Its a great place to take a walk either early mornings or mid evenings. You can see the water body glisten with the setting sun. The view takes away your breath. This is already great for a small city.As I walk on the road by the water, I captured a few stunning photos of the setting sun, mostly silhouettes and a few pictures of reeds growing along the way. I am sharing a few good ones here. Let me know if I can improve the quality of pictures I take in the comments. I am using a Samsung S20 FE 5G mobile phone to take these photos on the default settings in camera app. While walking I also played Pokemon Go, for a while. I encountered a Lickitung for the first time. It was a low CP pokemon which I immediately transferred to the professor. I also had 2 eggs which hatched into Ice type Sandshrew and Ralts. I am going to use Pokemon Go to fulfill my fitness goals of walking daily. And I can take a breather now and then when visiting the Dam.
That is all for today. Signing off!!! Peace!!!
PS: I am typing this on a custom handwired keyboard I made during holidays. It is a 4x12 planck style keyboard controlled by a Raspberry Pi Pico, has Gateron brown tactile switches and grey translucent XDA profile keycaps.I even found this blue bird, probably a blue jay, during my walk. Tell me if you know its name.
I think it's a Kingfisher-the bird. Keep sharing your morning walks with us. It is fun to read 😁💃
